Rejuvinating body, mind and soul

Living right in the middle of a hectic polluted city with no supply of fresh or even unadulterated food I am left with zero chances of not falling ill. But since I have found a medicine that has no cost and assured results, I can now relax!

It is true, that medicines to all your ill-health is present right here, in your own body!! We all know it as 'Yoga'. Yoga has been in my thoughts of interest since a long time. Although I have started practicing it just recently. It shows it's magic from the very first day and the progress stimulates with regular practice. I would recommend this to every one. It is amazing, addictive, steadfast, no ill side effects! I use to complain about severe back pain but after experiencing yoga for just 4 days (ya.. thats right!!) i am a lot more younger with no complains at all. My body feels feather light and my skin glows. I am more active and don't get tired easily.

Colaba Circuit with my best friend

As a child I was always excited to visit Town (the southern part of Mumbai as they say) for every other vacation. This is the place my mother's parents stayed. I was mesmerized by the Gothic style buildings and the tall ceiling rooms. There are more heritage buildings here, than any other part of the country. So I decided to take M on the "Colaba Circuit" (I like to call it that way!) If you went on a vacation to some foreign country what would you like to see?... How to be Mentally Strong?  Ami Morin is a therapist and has written the bestseller "13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do". I haven't read the book but I have heard her tedx talk. Here is the guidance by Amy Morin and my notes on them.  Believe in yourself We usually have certain beliefs about ourselves that are developed during our childhood. Like I am lazy to finish any task, I am an angry person, I am only good to people for certain amount of time etc. These are the statements usually by my key person, my guardian or my mom. I do feel offended when she says so but I accept it like a blind faith. If I try to say good things about myself and prove with incidences I can regain faith in my efforts, in myself. Lets go seed collecting

This is a post on how something that interested me so much got passed down to my son naturally. Nature always interested me although staying in Bangalore for a couple of years made it evoke.  I started noticing various fruit trees in my locality like coconut, papaya, jackfruit, pomegranate, fig and banana. It was surprising to me how food was grown in some households. The beauty of various seasons was much prominent in HSR Layout, making me exploring more about other trees and searching them on google. Few months ago I was much frustrated by my son's rag picking all day. He would stop at various intervals on our way to pick up things like tobacco wrappers or used plastic bottles from the roadside. While in the park he would keep searching for chips packets or used lollipop sticks. I was worried about his health and overall his habit.
