Aries & Cancer compatibility

This pairing brings together two very different natures, and caution is strongly advised. At first the Aries may show ardent desire, and pursue the Crab in a romantic way that sends signals of true love. But if the sensitive heart of Cancer opens, there could be trouble when the Aries flame suddenly goes out. The Cancer will retreat into their shell, and the Aries will either get bored and move on, or do serious damage by trying to gain re-entry into the Crab's private world by force.
Aries doesn't understand the indirect style of the Cancer nature, and could become impatient. The emotional world of the Cancer could seem claustrophobic, dependent and limiting to the strong-willed Aries. A needy, wounded Cancer that tries to hang on to an Aries may hold on for many years before letting go. If this pair makes it through the initial shock of their encounter, it could end up being a challenging, exciting relationship. Aries inspires Cancer to let go of their fears and "just do it," and Cancer opens the Ram up to their emotional depths.

A Garden that was a dumping ground once is maintained more esthetically than any other! Not just because it lies hugging the seashore but also because its on the most elite part of the island city. A botanical garden so beautiful that it attracts most of the newbie photographers and it bets that any shot will earn you applause. Simply gaze by the path and be jolted by every other flora and fauna. Here are some pictures I took.

An Ideal School System

Reading Raghu's Rearview made me realize why kids dread school so much and why i still don't like to recollect my school days. What I don't get is the attitude of parents in-general. Why do they on the first place want their piece of heart to go through such bad upbringing. In Raghu's words, School is mediocrity and uniformity at its worst... when all parents want is the opposite of that. I get anxious on the thought of sending my kid to any school... which is why homeschooling excites me. Is it my fear or something else? I don't know! All I know is i would send my child without any delay to a place where he genuinely learned and enjoyed learning. Where he finds that being of use to anyone is the only creditability to have something learned and providing value to the society can be an ultimate goal. Screw Exams. How perfect would it be to have questions from the student himself and he tried to figure of the answer! Ideally It should be the student passing ...

A weekend at a Farmhouse

During the extra-long lockdown, we had an opportunity to visit one of our family’s farmhouse. 3 hours from our home, somewhere in the fog city of igatpuri lay this amazing nature rescue. Paddy fields The place was mesmerizing with hills and paddy farms surrounding us. The early morning sun shone right in front of the verandah that our room was attached to. It was foggy every morning and clouds all day long so never did we feel the October heat. We hardly felt like staying in our luxurious rooms. I being a nature lover, enjoyed roaming around the fields, the flowering shrubs that beautified the paths and a machan to overlook till your eyesight would reach.  Everyday view The sleeping beauty mountain The mountain, the river, the fields, the well, the hand pump, the insects, the flowers and the cattle were the topic of learning for my homeschooled kid. He had a friend to accompany him all day long. She was a year older than him, yet they both did compliment each other in many ways. W...
