Writing a Diary

I have started writing an online dairy.. Probably when i grow old and will have time to do absolutely nothing :P I will glance through the pages, relive special moments and talk about my past experience with my grand kids.. haha who knows how long one lives but I really want to do this. Online diary means never lost or cant be deleted or not in wrong hands... So here i go typing my daily thoughts :)

An Ideal School System

Reading Raghu's Rearview made me realize why kids dread school so much and why i still don't like to recollect my school days. What I don't get is the attitude of parents in-general. Why do they on the first place want their piece of heart to go through such bad upbringing. In Raghu's words, School is mediocrity and uniformity at its worst... when all parents want is the opposite of that. I get anxious on the thought of sending my kid to any school... which is why homeschooling excites me. Is it my fear or something else? I don't know! All I know is i would send my child without any delay to a place where he genuinely learned and enjoyed learning. Where he finds that being of use to anyone is the only creditability to have something learned and providing value to the society can be an ultimate goal. Screw Exams. Visit to the Sagar Upwan

A Garden that was a dumping ground once is maintained more esthetically than any other! Not just because it lies hugging the seashore but also because its on the most elite part of the island city. A botanical garden so beautiful that it attracts most of the newbie photographers and it bets that any shot will earn you applause. Colaba Circuit with my best friend

As a child I was always excited to visit Town (the southern part of Mumbai as they say) for every other vacation. This is the place my mother's parents stayed. I was mesmerized by the Gothic style buildings and the tall ceiling rooms. There are more heritage buildings here, than any other part of the country. So I decided to take M on the "Colaba Circuit" (I like to call it that way!) If you went on a vacation to some foreign country what would you like to see?... All the beautiful architechure, museum, restaurants, the market places and other sceneries.. right? I am sure very few of us have seen this part of their very own place, Mumbai.
