There is constant change

Soon it will be 10 months to my marriage and things have changed already.. a lot.. From a challenging not easy to deal with person, now there is more patience and maturity.. from planning for careers to serving family.. from splurging on holidays to saving for future.. from talking long hours on phone with friends to being awake late night with hubby.. Every moment denotes there will be a new challenge.. Its exciting at times and is monotonous as well..

Not sure where will I be after a few more years.. and yes will I be facing the famous seven-years itch.. In any case I feel to be more independent..

An Ideal School System

Reading Raghu's Rearview made me realize why kids dread school so much and why i still don't like to recollect my school days. What I don't get is the attitude of parents in-general. Why do they on the first place want their piece of heart to go through such bad upbringing. In Raghu's words, School is mediocrity and uniformity at its worst... when all parents want is the opposite of that. I get anxious on the thought of sending my kid to any school... which is why homeschooling excites me. Is it my fear or something else? I don't know! All I know is i would send my child without any delay to a place where he genuinely learned and enjoyed learning. Where he finds that being of use to anyone is the only creditability to have something learned and providing value to the society can be an ultimate goal. Screw Exams. How perfect would it be to have questions from the student himself and he tried to figure of the answer! Ideally It should be the student passing ...

Visit to the Sagar Upwan

A Garden that was a dumping ground once is maintained more esthetically than any other! Not just because it lies hugging the seashore but also because its on the most elite part of the island city. A botanical garden so beautiful that it attracts most of the newbie photographers and it bets that any shot will earn you applause. Simply gaze by the path and be jolted by every other flora and fauna. Here are some pictures I took.

Colaba Circuit with my best friend

As a child I was always excited to visit Town (the southern part of Mumbai as they say) for every other vacation. This is the place my mother's parents stayed. I was mesmerized by the Gothic style buildings and the tall ceiling rooms. There are more heritage buildings here, than any other part of the country. So I decided to take M on the "Colaba Circuit" (I like to call it that way!) If you went on a vacation to some foreign country what would you like to see?... All the beautiful architechure, museum, restaurants, the market places and other sceneries.. right? I am sure very few of us have seen this part of their very own place, Mumbai.
